Ocean Quest Scuba

Okay lets face it, you wouldn’t just trust your kids to anyone. Ocean Quest Scuba
specializes in kids! Why? Because kids are great to teach and the excitement that they
show when diving is very rewarding. There is something about diving with kids that keeps
it new and exciting for everyone around them. All of our younger students are handled
in a very patient and friendly manner. We want them not only to learn the necessary
skills, but also to have a great and positive experience that keeps them in diving for years
to come.

Years from now they will not remember their third grade teacher, but they will remember
their dive instructor. We take pride in believing that by introducing kids to diving, the
ocean and her inhabitants, we are helping protect the ocean one diver at a time.

Bottom line, your kids are safe with us because we care about them too! Underwater
“high fives” is how we celebrate their success, often followed up by an ice cream. Don’t

Our kids programs allow for families to enjoy a diving vacation for everyone. With
snorkeling programs and discover scuba programs nobody has to be left out. Our crew is
trained to take special care with our younger divers, and we really enjoy the excitement
that having kids onboard can bring. Families can private charter the boat for special
diving, snorkeling, inter-coastal cruises and also for any of the fireworks shows
throughout the year.

Certification programs start for kids at the age of 10 years old. Sandy personally works
with all of our young divers and makes sure they have the understanding and knowledge
they need to dive safely. They will also benefit from Sandy's easy going manner with
them and they will truly enjoy their scuba diving experience.

We take time to work with our younger divers on what type of diving
they enjoy doing. Many of our kids enjoy spearfishing and lobster
hunting...above is Matt and his buddy bagging a nice 25 lb Gag Grouper!!
Sandy is also willing to help kids get a start in underwater photography if
they enjoy taking photo's.
